Sunday School Classes: Participate in a class "Penny Fund". Drop coins, or currency in a container weekly. The funds collected can be use to buy canned food items to help the needy. NCEON, Inner Harbor Ministries, Baltimore Rescue Missions, and other ministries, are always so thankful to have community support. (The container can be an envelope, plastic bowl or jar.) When filled, send the funds to the ministry the class agrees upon. the church office is available to assist in anyway. "CAP" Care About People. |

Please continue to save stamps from your mail to send to the veterans in hospitals recovering from service combat. Cut the stamp at least 1/4 inch around the stamp. The veterans use a special technique to remove the stamp. This is a great thearpy for the veterans and they really enjoy the activity. A box is on the table in the foyer for the stamps.
Campbell labels: Remove the entire label from the can/jar. Thelma Modlin, WOM Director, has agreed to cut the section of the label needed to mail to the Campbell Company for earned points to our account.
Please continue to save empty aluminum soda cans and bring to church for recycling. The cans are taken to the recycling center, and the money received is used for Disaster Relief, to help families restore their lives following a disaster. |
